Job description

The Associate Manager - EHS & Sustainability Compliance at GMR Group handles all statutory and regulatory clearances and compliances for HYD ALD Projects and Operating Assets. Key responsibilities include filing for pre-construction, construction, and post-construction approvals from various government bodies (including MoEF&CC, TSPCB, Fire Services, AAI, CEA, and NAC), managing external and internal stakeholders, ensuring 100% compliance adherence, tracking renewals, and overseeing document management systems for compliance records.

Responsibilities

1. File applications for obtaining all required Statutory Approvals (pre-construction, construction, and post-construction) for ALD projects from various government agencies. 2. Facilitate and extend support to ALD clients to obtain statutory approvals from government agencies. 3. Ensure timely filing of statutory compliance reports for ALD projects. 4. Manage external stakeholders to expedite the process of obtaining approvals and renewals. 5. Manage internal stakeholders with ALD, CR, and other Airport departments for expediting collation of plans, NOCs, etc. 6. Coordinate with Govt agencies, regulators, NAC, municipal corporation, HMDA, Police, PCB, etc. 7. Lead the application process for statutory approvals including Height NOC from AAI, Environmental Clearance from MoEF&CC/SEIAA, Consent For Establishment (CFE) and Consent For Operation (CFO) from TSPCB, Provisional and Occupancy Fire NOCs, and CEA approvals. 8. Monitor 100% regulatory/statutory compliance during operational stage, track each compliance for renewal, and apply well in advance. 9. File Quarterly Performance Reports (QPR) for SEZ capturing investment deployed, employment generated, and land monetized. 10. Ensure statutory approvals and relevant records are digitized and physical records are safely maintained with third-party storage.

Education qualifications
