Safety Officer

Balaji Amines is recruiting a Safety Officer with 1-3 years of experience in hazardous chemical safety for its facility in MIDC Chincholi, Solapur. Candidates must possess a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering along with a mandatory Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS). Responsibilities include managing statutory compliance, plant safety inspections, incident investigations, and safety training.

Ensure timely compliance with all statutory approvals, licenses, and safety regulations (PESO, DISH, Factory Act, SMPV Rules, etc.). Manage periodic inspections, testing, and certifications for pressure vessels, fire systems, lifting equipment, and utilities. Monitor unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions. Investigate incidents, near misses & ensure RCA and CAPA closure. Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation. Ensure availability and usage of PPE and emergency systems. Support Safety Committee activities and training programs.
