Head of Service Line Build

Ericsson is hiring a Head of Service Line Build in Mumbai, India, to lead Network Rollout (NRO) projects and end-to-end technical solutions. The role requires 15 to 20 years of telecom delivery experience, with direct responsibility for driving 100% Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) compliance and propagating a 'Target Zero' safety culture across all operations.

The Head of Service Line Build manages Network Rollout (NRO) and is responsible for analyzing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for customers. The role spans initial engagements to final customer acceptance, ensuring profitable business, efficient delivery execution, and high quality of service. Key accountabilities include driving 100% OHS compliance, defining safety initiatives inline with Target Zero, managing multi-vendor integration across 2G/3G/4G/5G and transport domains, and leading large-scale network rollouts and modernizations.

1. Plan and provide resources, tools, and drive automation for customer projects in Network Roll Out (NRO) areas including installation, integration, quality audits, and vendor management. 2. Develop and execute delivery strategy to minimize cost overruns and maintain Quality of Service (QoS). 3. Manage customer interactions and escalations from corporate vertical heads, circle CTOs, and operations heads. 4. Collaborate across departments and stakeholders for seamless and timely delivery. 5. Manage budgeting, maintain top and bottom line profitability, and protect margins. 6. Drive organizational culture, values, desired behaviors, and team competence. 7. Serve as E2E Technical Lead for multi-vendor integration spanning RAN (2G/3G/4G/5G), Microwave, Optical, Packet Transport, and IPRAN/CEN domains. 8. Drive 100% compliance of OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) and COBE/Ethical Conduct across all NRO programs in CU Operations. 9. Identify and define OHS initiatives to cultivate and propagate safety measures inline with the 'Target Zero' vision. 10. Ensure First Time Right quality KPIs and methods to achieve project milestones and secure prompt customer acceptance. 11. Roll out large-scale 4G/5G networks, swaps, and migration services as Program Manager or Principal Architect. 12. Lead emerging tech areas including Cloud RAN, MIMO, 5G, IoT, and SDN. 13. Implement new delivery models and define OKRs to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. 14. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new market features to plan future resources and build technical expertise.

1. BE / BTech in ECE / IT / CS preferred from a recognized and accredited institution 2. PMP, Prince 2, or ITIL certification preferred 3. 15 to 20 years of experience in telecom project management / technical lead roles 4. Proven experience in leading Radio & Transport Network rollouts, swaps, or modernizations 5. Strong technical knowledge of Ericsson RAN, Microwave, and related products
