Job description
Global HSE Systems & Risk is Vestas' global center of expertise for HSE governance, critical risk management, management systems, compliance, organizational learning, analytics and digital enablement. The Risk & Control HSE role supports the development and continual improvement of Vestas' global critical risk framework by providing specialist expertise in risk management, control effectiveness and operational risk governance. Key duties include analyzing risk and performance data, conducting risk reviews, developing standards, and working with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance critical risk controls globally.
Responsibilities
1. Support the development and continual improvement of Vestas' global critical risk framework by providing specialist expertise in risk management, control effectiveness and operational risk governance
2. Analyze risk and performance data, support risk reviews and assurance activities, contribute to the development of standards and operational requirements
3. Work closely with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, build business cases and strengthen critical risk controls across a global organization

Education qualifications
1. Degree qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Hygiene or a related discipline
2. 5 years of Experience in HSE, operational risk management, critical risk programs, assurance, or risk governance within a complex industrial environment
3. Demonstrated experience in the management of high-consequence risks, including chemical management, hazardous substances, process safety, occupational hygiene, dangerous goods or related risk disciplines
4. Formal qualifications, certifications or specialist experience in chemical management, occupational hygiene, hazardous materials, process safety, chemical engineering or a related field will be highly regarded
5. Experience developing, implementing or maintaining HSE standards, procedures, operational requirements, or risk controls
6. Working knowledge of critical risk management principles, control effectiveness, assurance processes and risk-based decision making
7. Knowledge of ISO management systems, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements is desirable
8. Experience in renewable energy, construction, utilities, manufacturing, chemical processing, mining, oil & gas, logistics or other high-risk industries is advantageous
