Safety Advisor

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Safety Advisor to join its Loss Prevention organization. The role involves facilitating the implementation of the Safety Management System, conducting field compliance inspections, supporting risk assessments (HAZOPs/PHAs), investigating incidents, and mentoring staff across facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Aramco is seeking a Safety Advisor to join the Loss Prevention organization (LP). LP provides day-to-day in-field occupational and process safety support to operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting services across facilities in Saudi Arabia. The Safety Advisor's primary role is to provide daily support to company facilities and departments, helping them effectively implement the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System expectations and associated programs, as well as assuring compliance with all company safety requirements.

1. Facilitate implementation of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System, including developing safety processes and participating in self-assessments. 2. Conduct field inspections and reviews to assess compliance with company and international codes and standards, identify safety concerns, and develop practical corrective actions. 3. Evaluate and follow up on critical safety tasks and control methodologies related to operational safety practices (e.g., work at height, LOTO, permit to work, H2S, confined space entry, excavations). 4. Participate in safety studies and risk assessment methodologies including PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys. 5. Respond to emergency situations and incidents to provide technical assistance and advice during or after regular working hours. 6. Participate in worksite contractor safety management, including selection, prequalification, compliance monitoring, and performance measurement. 7. Support reporting, classification, and investigation of incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence. 8. Deliver Loss Prevention-specific training to employees, contractors, and external parties. 9. Mentor other Loss Prevention personnel.

1. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution with at least 7 years of relevant industry experience in oil and gas, petrochemicals, operations, maintenance, plant engineering, construction, process safety, or audits; OR 15 years of relevant industry experience without a degree. 2. Excellent English communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise oral and written reports.
