HSE Officer

alfanar is hiring an HSE Officer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to oversee basic HSE compliance across factory and construction operations. The role entails conducting risk assessments (HIRARC), monitoring PPE usage, measuring noise levels, leading toolbox meetings, and assisting with incident investigations. Candidates should hold a diploma in safety engineering or a related discipline with 0 to 4 years of experience.

The HSE Officer will follow HSE requirements as per company policy and ensure basic compliance. Key responsibilities include assisting in preparing reports on incidents, accidents, near misses, and lost man-hours, observing proper PPE usage, supporting HIRARC updates, conducting noise level measurements, participating in toolbox meetings and drills, and encouraging employee safety feedback.

1. Report any illness or health concerns encountered by employees and ensure employee welfare is properly maintained. 2. Observe and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to work requirements. 3. Help identify potential risks and hazards and assist in implementing basic control measures. 4. Support updating the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) as needed. 5. Assist in measuring noise levels within the factory and recommend corrective actions or appropriate PPE for affected areas. 6. Report incidents, near misses, and accidents, and assist in basic investigations and suggesting control measures. 7. Gather and summarize employee suggestions related to safety and health improvements. 8. Participate in conducting toolbox meetings and drills (e.g., evacuation, fire, environmental). 9. Assist in preparing and distributing HSE topics for awareness. 10. Collaborate with teams, maintain effective communication, and execute planned activities to meet operational targets. 11. Execute and comply with related tasks as per defined policies, procedures, work instructions, and safety regulations.

1. Diploma Degree in Safety Engineering or any relevant field
