O&M - EHS Coordinator

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an O&M - EHS Coordinator based in Chennai with 8 to 12 years of experience. The role focuses on implementing EHS management systems, identifying site hazards, conducting inspections, and leading safety training across solar and renewable O&M plant sites.

Implementation of EHS Management system at all O&M plants. Establish EHS requirements at workplace. Strict implementation of EHS plan and cardinal safety rules. Identify Hazards at sites and take action to eliminate hazards on daily basis. Training of all site teams to identify and eliminate Hazards. Inspect the quality of PPEs and safety gadgets. Reporting of UA / UC / Near miss / First aid / Dangerous occurrences on daily basis. Encourage site team for reporting of UA / UC / Near miss. Reporting of Fatality as per the protocol. Conduct project related inspection on a weekly or daily basis. Ensure daily pep talk by site team. Provide requirements of Safety Stewards based on site requirement to Lead EHS as and when required at all sites and ensure deployment. Monitor the safety steward activity daily. Identify the training needs, schedule the training and impart training to staff, visitors, sub-contractors and workmen.
