Job description
Godrej Agrovet Limited is hiring a Manager Production for its plant in Mahad, Maharashtra. The role is responsible for monthly production planning and execution, long-range strategies (AOP and budgeting), continuous improvement in product quality, HSE, and sustainability, statutory compliance, liaison with government bodies, and establishing an Integrated Management System and safety culture across operations.
Responsibilities
1. Planning and execution of monthly production targets
2. Developing and implementing long range production strategies like Annual Operating Plan and budgeting of different functions
3. Bringing about continuous improvement in product quality, safety & environment, and sustainability in all aspects of plant operations
4. Ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements and managing liaison with government agencies
5. Driving productivity improvement and cost reduction through innovative ideas
6. Reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and nonconformities with subsequent CAPA implementation
7. Building a high-performance work culture within the unit
8. Establishing Integrated Management System at the unit and other standard guidelines under Responsible Care
9. Establishing a safety culture at the plant and developing proactive measures to ensure adherence to HSE requirements
10. Ensuring optimum utilization of resources including manpower
11. Ensuring skill development at all levels including contractual manpower

Education qualifications
1. M.E or B.E/ B. Tech in Chemical Engineering

3. Practical experience of working in DCS/SCADA and SAP platforms
4. Hands-on experience with government agency liaison
5. Experience handling external environmental elements like pressure groups and local bodies
