Sr. HSE Engineer

Alfanar is seeking a Sr. HSE Engineer to support the implementation of HSE systems and practices in Dubai. The role involves performing advanced risk assessments, monitoring site conditions, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Sr. HSE Engineer contributes technical expertise to improve HSE standards, review engineering designs for safety compliance, and support emergency preparedness and response activities across operations.

1. Conduct detailed HSE risk assessments and evaluate protection and prevention measures. 2. Validate protection systems and verify compliance with international standards and company policies. 3. Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective measures to reduce incidents. 4. Apply HSE requirements within engineering and operational processes. 5. Review technical documentation and designs to verify safety considerations and environmental compliance. 6. Prepare HSE awareness content and support the delivery of training sessions. 7. Provide technical information to employees and contractors to ensure understanding of safety rules. 8. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and participate in drills and exercises. 9. Support the preparation of site evacuation procedures and response materials. 10. Perform HSE inspections and collect data on compliance and site conditions. 11. Prepare HSE reports with detailed findings and recommend corrective actions. 12. Carry out on-site audits, inspections, and safety checks to ensure adherence to standards. 13. Record and document observations, highlighting risks and required improvements. 14. Draft and maintain HSE documentation, incident logs, and analysis reports. 15. Support the preparation of root-cause analyses and recommendations after incidents. 16. Research and suggest updates to HSE procedures based on industry best practices. 17. Analyze incident trends and propose enhancements to safety systems.
