Job description

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an EHS Senior IT Analyst (SAP Consultant - EHS&S) based in Navi Mumbai, India. The Senior IT Analyst will be a member of the Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) Information Technology team, responsible for delivering SAP platform solutions that enhance current EHS&S business processes and support Dow’s Digital Sustainability Strategy. The role encompasses technical and functional SAP EHS expertise, configuration, troubleshooting, data migration, and project support across global initiatives, joint ventures, and capital investments.

Responsibilities

1. Support key SAP EHS processes including Product Safety, Substance Volume Tracking, SDS Distribution, Dangerous Goods Management, Waste Management, Environmental Management, and Incident Management. 2. Perform SAP EHS configuration, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance to deliver innovative EHS digital capabilities. 3. Execute the EHS&S business process track during projects, including requirements gathering, design, data migration, testing, and deployment. 4. Ensure functional and technical designs conform to Dow architecture standards and optimize productivity and long-term product vision. 5. Collaborate with business process teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to design and build SAP objects. 6. Participate in the development of implementation approaches, strategies, and cutover plans for the EHS&S business process area. 7. Manage WWI template creation, modification, WWI servers, ERC updates from 3E, Open Content Connector (OCC), and Expert Rules.

Education qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, related IT field, or EHS&S area. 2. 5+ years of work experience in SAP EHS and Sustainability processes and technologies. 3. In-depth SAP EHS knowledge across modules like Basic Data and Tools, Property Tree, Phrase Management, VAT, Class, and Characteristics. 4. Advanced English level skills. 5. Understanding of UN GHS, CLP, REACH, dangerous goods regulations, and EHS product compliance (preferred). 6. Experience with S/4 HANA migration projects, SAP interfaces, IDocs, ALE, and AI applications (preferred).
