EHS Manager

Larsen & Toubro is hiring an EHS Manager for project site execution in Hyderabad. The role requires 8 to 12 years of experience managing site EHS implementation, regulatory compliance, risk assessments (HIRA), and incident investigations for building and factory projects.

The Lead – EHS – Site is responsible for end-to-end Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) implementation at a specific project site. The role ensures full compliance with statutory regulations, corporate policies, and safe work practices throughout the project lifecycle. The incumbent leads site-level risk identification, incident prevention, emergency response planning, and environmental protection initiatives. This role plays a key part in building a strong safety culture, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring all activities are executed with zero harm as the central objective.

1. Ensure end-to-end execution of all site-level EHS plans, procedures, and compliance obligations in line with corporate policies and legal requirements. 2. Maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation, and interface with statutory authorities during inspections to ensure zero non-compliances. 3. Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), implement mitigation measures, and regularly review work areas for unsafe conditions. 4. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring timely and accurate incident reporting. 5. Organize site-specific EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors, and assess training effectiveness periodically.
