HSE Admin / Officer

SOMS is hiring an HSE Admin / Officer in Oman to support the implementation and monitoring of rig HSE management systems. The role requires at least 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in Oil & Gas drilling/rig operations. Candidates must hold relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH and H2S/PDO qualifications.

Job Summary: Support implementation and monitoring of the rig HSE system. Maintain HSE records, training matrices, inspections, incident reports, toolbox talks, JSA documentation and compliance reports. Responsibilities: Support rig HSE activities by maintaining HSE documentation, training records, inspections, JSA, PTW, incident reports, and compliance records. Qualifications & Requirements: - Degree/Diploma in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline. - 3+ years HSE experience, preferably Oil & Gas drilling/rig experience. - NEBOSH qualification preferred/required as per client specification. - Mandatory HSE / PDO / OPAL Requirements: Staying Alive in an H2S Environment, NEBOSH IGC + International Diploma, Incident Investigation, JSA Facilitation, Gas Tester Certification, PDO PTW certification where designated, medical fitness.

1. Support the implementation and monitoring of the rig HSE system. 2. Maintain HSE documentation, training records, and training matrices. 3. Coordinate and record site inspections, incident reports, toolbox talks, and JSA documentation. 4. Support Permit to Work (PTW) administration and compliance reporting.

1. Degree/Diploma in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline. 2. NEBOSH qualification preferred/required as per client specification. 3. 3+ years HSE experience, preferably Oil & Gas drilling/rig experience. 4. Mandatory requirements: Staying Alive in an H2S Environment certification. 5. NEBOSH IGC + International Diploma or equivalent as specified. 6. Incident Investigation and JSA Facilitation competencies. 7. Gas Tester Certification. 8. PDO PTW certification where designated. 9. Medical fitness. 10. Proficient in English (writing and reading).
