HSE Officer

Shubham Engineering MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an HSE Officer in Mumbai with 3 to 5 years of experience in MEP or construction safety. The position involves managing site health and safety, performing risk assessments, conducting audits and safety training, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Shubham Engineering MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and standards at site level in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing MEP and construction safety, conducting regular inspections, preparing risk assessments, leading safety inductions, and investigating incidents.

1. Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and standards at site level. 2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations. 3. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. 4. Prepare and update Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Risk Assessments for MEP activities. 5. Ensure that electrical work activities are carried out safely. 6. Monitor and ensure correct use of PPE by site workers and subcontractors. 7. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; report findings and suggest corrective actions. 8. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff and labor. 9. Coordinate emergency response drills and first aid arrangements. 10. Maintain all HSE documentation including daily safety reports, inspection logs, and permits. 11. Liaise with government authorities for HSE compliance. 12. Assist in preparing and submitting HSE reports to clients, consultants, and internal management.

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety. 2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in MEP or construction industry. 3. In-depth knowledge of local HSE regulations and construction safety standards. 4. Familiarity with MEP systems and their associated safety requirements. 5. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced construction environment. 7. Preferred: HSE-related certifications. 8. Preferred: First Aid and Fire Fighting certification. 9. Preferred: Experience working on high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or industrial MEP projects.
