Landscape Engineer

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an experienced Landscape Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to oversee and monitor landscaping service provider activities across multiple sites. The candidate will ensure operations meet contractual obligations, quality standards, sustainability requirements, and compliance with local regulations. Essential requirements include at least 7 years of landscaping inspection/supervision experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance within facility management operations.

1. Supervise and monitor landscaping service provider activities across all sites, ensuring performance meets contractual and quality standards 2. Conduct regular inspections of softscape areas (lawns, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, flowers) and hardscape features (paved areas, planters, irrigation systems) 3. Verify that maintenance activities (pruning, fertilization, pest control, replanting, irrigation) are carried out per approved service delivery plan 4. Inspect irrigation systems, report faults, and follow up on rectifications by service provider 5. Review and approve service provider's maintenance schedules, planting programs, and manpower allocation 6. Ensure compliance with scope of work, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) 7. Monitor and report on water usage efficiency, sustainability measures, and compliance with MEWA and other local authority requirements 8. Review monthly reports, checklists, and performance data submitted by service provider 9. Issue inspection reports, highlight non-conformances, and follow up on corrective actions 10. Coordinate with operations team, client representatives, and service providers to resolve site issues 11. Support management team in preparing presentations, audit data, and improvement proposals for landscape management 12. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all landscaping operations

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in agriculture, landscaping engineering, or a related field 2. Minimum 7 years of experience in landscaping inspection or supervision within large-scale or prestigious facilities 3. Minimum 5 years of mandatory experience in golf course maintenance 4. Proven experience managing or monitoring third-party landscaping service providers under FM contracts 5. Strong technical knowledge of landscaping operations, irrigation systems maintenance, entomology, and pest management 6. Solid understanding of Saudi environmental and sustainability regulations (MEWA)
